Trastbank Partners with BS/2 to Enhance Self-Service Device Capabilities

JSC “Trastbank”, one of Uzbekistan’s largest private banks, has chosen BS/2, a member of the Penki Kontinentai Group, to modernize its ATM network. On June 12, 2024, Idrakas Dadašovas, Chairman of the Board of Penki Kontinentai Group, and Ziyovuddin Kurganov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC “Trastbank”, signed a Memorandum of Strategic Partnership.

As a result of the agreement with BS/2, “Trastbank” clients will have access to more modern and convenient banking services than ever before. Providing a high level of security and expanding the ATM network will enable “Trastbank” to provide more efficient and reliable banking assistance.

“Trastbank” ordered its first batch of multifunctional ATMs from Diebold Nixdorf in 2023.

100 DN SeriesTM 200H devices have been installed, connected, and are now serving clients across all Uzbekistan branches. Among the key functionalities of these ATMs are cash withdrawal, account deposit, and support for UZCARD, HUMO, VISA, MasterCard, and other international payment systems.

Diebold Nixdorf’s self-service devices can also convert US dollars for Uzbek sum thanks to BS/2’s software solutions. FCX.iQ module of Payments.iQᴺᴳ is used by ATMs to exchange foreign currency. The joint plan of “Trastbank” and BS/2 includes the launch of another helpful feature for entrepreneurs. It is expected that ATMs will accept cash deposits from small and medium-sized businesses by the end of 2024.

To manage its ATM fleet, the bank has also implemented advanced software solutions – ATMeye.iQᴺᴳ comprehensive monitoring and dispute resolution system, Vynamic View technical monitoring and ATM management platform. S&G A-Series electronic locks are used for ATM safe physical access control.

The implementation of this comprehensive project has given the bank the latest technological tools for effective ATM fleet management and improved customer service. In response, “Trastbank” has ordered an additional hundred Diebold Nixdorf ATMs (DN SeriesTM 200V) to accelerate the implementation of its self-service banking strategy.

The latest ATM recycler model was chosen because of its enhanced capacity (up to 17,500 banknotes) and ability to accept a wider range of denominations.

“Our decision to collaborate with BS/2 in banking technology and ATM services was based on several key factors. Our partner has been on the market for more than 30 years and has proven to be a reliable and competent provider of software solutions and equipment for the banking sector,” Ziyovuddin Kurganov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC “Trastbank”, said. “BS/2 is continuously improving ATM solutions, such as loan repayment and cash handling for corporate clients. As a result, the company’s software products are particularly valuable to our customers.
BS/2’s global presence in 80 countries demonstrates its compliance with high international standards. Diebold Nixdorf has been an official partner of the company, producing high-quality and secure devices. In addition to maintaining high-quality service and technical support, our strategic partner provides regular consultation, training, and IT outsourcing services, which simplifies our workflow. This makes “Trastbank”‘s partnership with BS/2 a strategic and justified choice”.

The joint strategic plan between “Trastbank” and BS/2 aims to improve customer service and increase the accessibility of banking services across Uzbekistan.
