BS/2 rewarded partners for achievements in projects for 2024–2025 in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan remains one of the key markets for BS/2, a member of the international Penki Kontinentai Group. Over the past few years, the company has implemented more than twenty large-scale and comprehensive projects in cooperation with the country’s banks, processing centers, and retail chains. These initiatives include the deployment of modern solutions in self-service, acquiring, digital banking, and cash process automation.

On May 29, 2025, a festive ceremony titled BS/2 Banking Excellence Award-2025 took place in Tashkent. The event reviewed the results of projects implemented in 2024–2025. In a celebratory atmosphere, awards were presented in 12 categories, each reflecting the unique nature of cooperation with banks and financial institutions, and highlighting key technological and organizational achievements of joint projects.

Partner’s Impact Award — Micros / Multikassa

This award was given for a new technical and business collaboration in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Together with partners from Micros and Multikassa, a project was successfully completed to integrate TransLink.iQ software with Multikassa fiscal software, enabling the creation of a full-featured 3-in-1 solution. This innovation has paved the way for building a flexible and modern infrastructure at retail points.

Best Branch Transformation Project — AloqaBank

Awarded for the most elegant implementation of a branch transformation concept. In 2022, AloqaBank equipped a modern branch in the IT Park using Diebold Nixdorf DN Series devices, and in 2024, launched a new branch in Tashkent City with a dedicated 24/7 self-service area, ensuring high customer service and technological accessibility.

ATM Accessibility Award 2025 — Tenge Bank

Tenge Bank received the award for implementing an ATM network expansion project using DN490V all-weather ATMs from the latest DN Series line. The devices were installed in accessible and convenient locations across Tashkent, significantly enhancing financial service accessibility for a broad audience.

Nationwide ATM Modernization Project — Universal Bank

Awarded for the successful implementation of a large-scale ATM modernization project. At the end of 2024, during the Banking Fusion conference in Almaty, Universal Bank signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation and a framework agreement for the delivery of DN100 ATMs. This project marked a significant step in the bank’s digital transformation and ATM infrastructure reinforcement.

Best ATM Multivendor Project — Ipoteka Bank

BS/2 honored Ipoteka Bank for executing the largest multivendor ATM project in Uzbekistan. A large fleet of ATMs from various manufacturers and types was brought under service within a long-term three-year contract. The project also included the implementation of unified monitoring using ATMeye.iQ and Cash Management.iQ solutions, significantly improving fleet control and operational efficiency.

Reliability & Trust Award — Trastbank

Awarded for consistent and reliable partnership. Over the past three years, Trastbank expanded its fleet with Diebold Nixdorf DN200 ATMs and implemented a physical access control system based on S&G electronic locks. The bank also initiated a Smart Deposit (Самоинкассация) service to enhance operational flexibility.

Sky High ATM Award — Octobank

A special award recognizing an ambitious project at Tashkent International Airport, where DN200 ATMs were installed and upgraded to attract the maximum number of customers. Additionally, at the Digital Uzbekistan-2025 forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed, marking the beginning of further collaboration in ATM network expansion and self-service banking.

Partner Appreciation Award — HUMO

Best ATM Fleet Management — Ipak Yuli

One of BS/2’s first and most trusted partners in the country. Ipak Yuli Bank has set the standard in ATM fleet management and the implementation of additional client services. The bank’s projects have defined high service quality and IT infrastructure benchmarks.

Ultimate ATM Champion — UZUM Bank

The main award of the ceremony goes to UZUM Bank — more than a bank, it is the country’s #1 fintech ecosystem. In April 2025, the bank signed a large-scale agreement for the supply of DN200V recycler ATMs. The project symbolizes a new phase in the digitalization of Uzbekistan’s banking infrastructure.
