BS/2 and SUNMI Open the First SUNMI Home Demonstration Center in Georgia

BS/2, together with SUNMI, has opened SUNMI Home Tbilisi, the first SUNMI Home demonstration center in Georgia. It is the partners’ second joint project in the region, following the opening of SUNMI Home Baku in 2025. The new center marks another stage in the development of cooperation between BS/2 and SUNMI across Central Asia and the Caucasus.

Located at the BS/2 Georgia office, the center is designed for representatives of banks, retailers, payment service providers, technology partners, and other organizations interested in implementing modern business solutions. Visitors can explore SUNMI equipment, test it in conditions closely resembling real-world operations, and receive expert consultations from BS/2 specialists on integrating new technologies into existing infrastructure.

Official Opening of SUNMI Home Tbilisi

The opening ceremony brought together representatives of SUNMI, BS/2, ASHBURN International, and Georgia’s business community. Guests were introduced to the center’s concept, presented with technology solutions, and shown their potential practical applications.

Among those attending the ceremony were Alexander Bespaly, Managing Director for the MEA region at SUNMI; Sergey Bryushkov, Country General Manager at SUNMI; Idrakas Dadašovas, Chairman of the Board of the Penki Kontinentai Group; and Emilio Kiris, Director of BS/2 Georgia.

Representatives from SUNMI’s headquarters in China also attended the event: Leander Li, SUNMI Home Operations Manager; Darryl Yuan, SUNMI Home Business Development Manager; and Hesper Piao, SUNMI Home Operations Specialist. During their visit, they shared their experience and discussed with partners the prospects for expanding the international network of demonstration centers.

Emilio Kiris, Director of BS/2 Georgia, emphasized the strategic importance of opening SUNMI Home Tbilisi for the company and its partners:

“Tbilisi is important to us not only as the capital of Georgia but also as a growth hub for the entire region. At the new center, customers and partners can explore SUNMI technologies, test them in practice, and understand how they can fit into their business operations. BS/2, in turn, will help integrate the equipment into their existing infrastructure. Together with SUNMI Home Baku, the new center enables us to strengthen cooperation with customers across Central Asia and the Caucasus.”

Technology Solutions for Business

SUNMI Home Tbilisi showcases equipment for retail, hospitality, payment acceptance, and business process automation. The exhibition includes D3 PRO, D3 Mini, and T3 PRO MAX desktop POS terminals, the K2 self-service kiosk, and the D2s KDS kitchen display system for tracking and managing orders. These solutions are designed to automate customer service, payment acceptance, self-service operations, and order processing.

A key focus of the center is the integration of equipment with companies’ existing IT infrastructure. SUNMI devices run on the Android operating system and can be used alongside BS/2 software solutions, taking into account technical requirements, business processes, and local market conditions. Visitors can evaluate equipment performance in various scenarios, explore the capabilities of integrated solutions, and discuss implementation with specialists. This approach enables companies to assess technologies not only in terms of individual device functionality but also in the context of their practical application within existing business processes.

The center will serve as a venue for technology demonstrations, professional consultations, and meetings between equipment manufacturers, software developers, financial institutions, and retail businesses.

Development of the BS/2 and SUNMI Partnership

For the past three years, BS/2 and ASHBURN International have held the status of SUNMI Authorized Partners, reflecting their technical expertise and practical experience in implementing technology solutions. In 2025, this partnership led to the opening of SUNMI Home Baku, the first demonstration center of its kind in the region. The opening of the second center in Tbilisi expands the partners’ capabilities to showcase SUNMI technologies and implement joint projects across Central Asia and the Caucasus.

Shortly before the opening of SUNMI Home Tbilisi, the BS/2 Georgia team was named among the winners of SUNMI’s global Store Revolution campaign. This achievement recognized the team’s expertise in promoting and implementing SUNMI technologies in the Georgian market. The expansion of the SUNMI Home network aligns with BS/2’s strategy of delivering integrated technology solutions, strengthening local expertise, and supporting business digital transformation. The new demonstration centers provide companies with opportunities to explore technologies firsthand, receive professional support, and identify solutions tailored to local market needs.
