Liberty Bank and BS/2 Visit Diebold Nixdorf Headquarters to Strengthen Strategic Partnership

BS/2 and Liberty Bank’s representatives visited Diebold Nixdorf’s headquarters, a world leader in banking equipment and software development. The trip to the Netherlands and Germany was organized within the framework of the development of strategic cooperation between the parties, the agreement on which was concluded last October.  

The partnership between Liberty Bank and BS/2 includes the expansion of the ATM network and the improvement of self-service device functionality using modern software solutions. This will provide the bank’s customers with more convenient and faster access to modern financial services. In addition, the high security of BS/2 products will improve the quality and reliability of Liberty Bank’s customer service. 

The delegation from Liberty Bank included Davit Meskhidze, Head of Digital Platforms & Channels Development Department, Vazha Maisuradze, Head of ATMs and POS Terminals Service Division, and Giorgi Koroglishvili, Head of Digital Banking and Innovation Office. On the BS/2 side, Nikolajs Želņins, Deputy CEO of Commerce, and Emilio Kiris, CEO of BS/2 Georgia, participated in the trip.

Diebold Nixdorf Demo Center: Focus on Innovation and Accessibility 

The business visit started at the Diebold Nixdorf demonstration center in Utrecht, Netherlands. The guests were presented with modern approaches to the transformation of bank branches and opportunities to use ecosystems to improve the quality of customer service. Special attention was paid to innovative software solutions 

 

The meeting discussed key trends in the development of banking applications, including the introduction of Vynamic® Connection Points 7. This solution is aimed at optimizing customer interaction with ATMs and other self-service devices. A special place in the presentation was given to technologies ensuring the accessibility of banking services for people with disabilities. 

Nikolajs Želņins, Deputy CEO of Commerce: 

Liberty Bank representatives were particularly interested in the 7th generation Vynamic® Connection Points solution, noting its significant potential to improve the customer experience. The bank was also interested in solutions developed by Diebold Nixdorf for people with disabilities. Among such systems are screen adaptations for the visually impaired, including a text dictation function, as well as specialized functions for the hearing impaired. Liberty Bank highly appreciates the presented technologies and is already considering their partial or full implementation in its projects. 

Getting Acquainted with Diebold Nixdorf’s Equipment Manufacturing Process 

In Paderborn, Germany, the delegation visited Diebold Nixdorf headquarters. The program of the meeting included a discussion of strategic challenges faced by modern banks, as well as global trends in the banking industry. Special attention was paid to cybersecurity issues and measures to protect self-service devices from attacks.  

 

The guests were presented with the DN Series Systems portfolio of solutions, including advanced technologies that set a new standard in the banking equipment industry. The visit also included a tour of Diebold Nixdorf’s production lines. The Liberty Bank and BS/2 delegation familiarized themselves with the process of creating high-tech devices used in the banking industry worldwide.

Among the key trends we discussed during the visit, I would highlight the optimization of banking operations using advanced solutions such as VCP 7 software platforms for managing ATMs and self-service POS terminals. Big data analytics also plays an important role, which, with the help of solutions such as DS Center.iQ from BS/2, allows us to better understand customer needs and personalize the services we provide. 

The organization of such events allows us not only to discuss current projects but also to exchange ideas and explore prospects for cooperation.
