BS/2 and Diebold Nixdorf discussed the development of self-service channels in Central Asia and the Caucasus

In 2023, BS/2 achieved significant sales success and established new partnerships. Over the past 15 years, the outgoing year has been characterized by record-breaking indicators. The top management from Diebold Nixdorf and BS/2 met in Vilnius to discuss the achieved results and develop a strategic plan for the future.

At the same time, two Diebold Nixdorf vice presidents visited the central office of BS/2 – Gill Jaiinder, Regional Vice President & Managing Director Banking – Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa, and Jerome Amara, Vice President, Banking Product Management & SME. Also present in the delegation was Anna Pankraz, Director of Partner Sales Development APAC & CEE.

Diebold Nixdorf, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of banking equipment, successfully restructured and strengthened its finances earlier this year. During the third quarter, the company achieved high financial results.

Partner representatives met in Vilnius to discuss market potential and requests from customers in the regions where Diebold Nixdorf supplies self-service devices. It was also decided to take steps in 2024 to ensure high performance.

Sales volumes of equipment and software were highest in Central Asia and the Caucasus. The largest commercial projects were successfully implemented at JSCB “Kapitalbank” and AICB “Ipak Yuli” in Uzbekistan, as well as at JSC “Eurasian Bank” in Kazakhstan and Bank ABB – OJSC “International Bank of Azerbaijan”.

A new decision support system DS Center.iQ was demonstrated by Diebold Nixdorf’s top managers during their visit. A particular focus was on integration with the Vynamic View platform for managing and monitoring the ATM fleet.

With its wide database, DS Center.iQ provides information in a visually appealing format. This level of detail allows users to see not only the current self-service and acquiring network situation, but also forecast financial indicators, such as ROI.

After the visit to Vilnius, the joint delegation of Diebold Nixdorf and BS/2 traveled to Uzbekistan for business negotiations. PJSB “Trustbank”, JSCB “Kapitalbank”, JSIB “Ipoteka-bank”, AICB “Ipak Yuli”, and JSCB “Tenge Bank” were among the key customers meeting on the business trip.

Uzbekistan is one of BS/2’s key operational regions in Central Asia. BS/2 Tashkent will celebrate 15 years of success in the summer of 2023. The company services approximately 1 000 self-service devices, almost 400 units of cash sorting equipment and has 13 service centers in the country, proving to customers and partners its trustworthiness.

This year, BS/2 reached a significant milestone with a contract to supply 750 DN Series self-service devices for JSCB “Kapitalbank”. With the Memorandum of Cooperation, the companies have solidified their partnership. The ceremony took place within the PLUS-Forum, held on June 21-22, 2023, in Tashkent.
