BS/2 Strengthens Market Position in Uzbekistan’s Cash Handling Sector

BS/2, part of Penki Kontinentai Group, has succeeded greatly in Uzbekistan. The amount of serviced counting and sorting equipment in the country has reached 1000 units. The company cooperates with the world’s leading cash counting and sorting equipment manufacturers, such as Magner International Corporation, Henkovac, Bankosa, and others. BS/2’s services in Uzbekistan are used by 15 banks, trade networks, retail stores, car centers, and financial organizations.  

Counting large amounts of cash manually takes a lot of time and is associated with a high probability of errors. The use of counting and sorting equipment helps prevent these problems, which contributes to an increase in demand for specialized machinery.  

According to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, the volume of cash in the country as of July 1, 2024, exceeded 50 trillion soums. This indicator has increased by 6% over the past year. In the first six months of 2024, bank turnover of cash amounted to 458 trillion soums (24% growth compared to the same period last year).

The system complies with ITIL V3 recommendations and ISO 20000 international standards.
