BS/2 Kazakhstan celebrated its 6th birthday

Towards the end of 2014 (on December 23), BS/2 Kazakhstan, a subsidiary of Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos, UAB (BS/2), celebrated its 6th birthday. In Kazakhstan, the company successfully supplies and supervises banking equipment, introduces specialized programming solutions, consults and trains bank employees. BS/2 operated in Kazakhstan’s market for some years (since 1999) before setting up a subsidiary. During this period, the company delivered more than 4,000 ATMs to this country.

Currently, BS/2 Kazakhstan occupies more than 50 percent of Kazakhstan’s banking market, cooperates with banks and retail companies operating in the country, supports and supervises more than 1,200 ATMs.

The Director of BS2 Kazakhstan, Kairat Bekbaganbetov, is pleased that the company has expanded significantly during its six-year activity. “The company’s customer service centers currently operate in twenty regions of Kazakhstan. Centers provide BS/2 Kazakhstan customers equipment installation, maintenance, and repair services, taking into consideration SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area), VISA and MasterCard requirements and standards”, says he.

Also, BS/2 Kazakhstan has a maintenance center running in Kazakhstan, where staff quickly solves arising problems. The company provides consultations to Kazakh companies, but it also consults companies in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Mongolia. Many problems are solved remotely, via OTRS Open Tickets Request System) system. The video surveillance system ProView allows remote connection to bank servers, around-the-clock monitoring of ATMs, and expeditious removal of faults. In addition, the company established its own training center that trains and refines its employees and trains banking professionals.

BS/2 Kazakhstan closely cooperates with the German banking equipment developer Wincor Nixdorf. BS/2 is an official Wincor Nixdorf partner since 1995. The ATM video surveillance and security system ATMeye.iQ developed by BS/2 helps to prevent fraud and is being successfully installed on Wincor Nixdorf equipment. Wincor Nixdorf often hires BS/2 Kazakhstan professionals to install banking equipment and conduct training on how to use it in many European, Asian, and African countries.
