New technologies and services for customers: Octobank chooses BS/2 solutions

As part of the International PLAS Forum Digital Uzbekistan 2025, held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, a memorandum of strategic cooperation was signed between JSC “Octobank” and UAB “Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (BS/2)”. The signing ceremony was attended by Rustam Rafikov, Managing Director – Head of Retail Block at Octobank, and Idrakas Dadashovas, Chairman of the Penki Kontinentai Group of Companies.

Key areas of cooperation between BS/2 and Octobank

Under the memorandum, BS/2 and Octobank will implement a comprehensive program to modernize and develop the self-service banking network. There are plans to significantly expand the network infrastructure by installing Diebold Nixdorf recycler ATMs integrated with BS/2 software solutions. This will improve the accessibility, functionality, and reliability of banking services.

Particular attention will be paid to the introduction of new digital services for Octobank customers. In particular, ATMs will receive expanded functionality, including the ability to deposit and withdraw cash, interact directly with bank accounts, pay for goods and services, and conduct currency exchange transactions. This will make the devices more convenient to use and allow us to offer customers a wider range of services.

One of the key areas of cooperation will be the implementation of software solutions for the comprehensive monitoring of device status. In addition, BS/2 will automate cash management processes to maintain optimal cash levels across the entire Octobank network.

The parties also agreed to implement physical access control systems for ATMs using electronic locks, personal keys, and one-time codes. This will increase the level of protection of the equipment against unauthorized interference.

As part of the cooperation, BS/2 will provide support for all implemented infrastructure in accordance with the best international standards. Technical support and maintenance of the devices will be carried out with an emphasis on stability, reliability, and a high level of customer service.

BS/2 and Octobank: reliable partners in digital transformation

The cooperation between BS/2 and Octobank began with an ambitious project. In early 2024, the bank signed a contract for the supply of a batch of modern DN Series self-service devices, choosing the most advanced models: DN 200V ATMs with an enlarged 23.8-inch display and DN 450 inter-wall devices. Support for the devices is provided by a team of BS/2 specialists in Tashkent.

The equipment runs on BS/2 software solutions:
