BS/2 and ASHBURN International at GITEX GLOBAL 2025: Expanding Partnership Horizons with SUNMI
BS/2 and ASHBURN International, both part of the Penki Kontinentai Group, once again took part in GITEX GLOBAL 2025 — one of the world’s premier technology events held from October 13–17 in Dubai, UAE. Bringing together thousands of participants from more than 100 countries, GITEX GLOBAL 2025 featured key themes such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, and cybersecurity. For BS/2 and ASHBURN International, the exhibition was an excellent opportunity to present their latest technology solutions, connect with existing and potential partners, and explore new directions for international collaboration.
The delegation was led by Idrakas Dadašovas, Chairman of the Board of the Penki Kontinentai Group. Joining him were Nikolajs Zelnins, Deputy CEO for Commerce at BS/2; Žoržas Šarafanovičius, Executive Director of ASHBURN International; Martynas Tiškevičius, Sales Manager at ASHBURN International; and Sigitas Šniukas, Head of the Sales Division at ASHBURN International. Representatives from the Group’s subsidiaries also attended — Emilio Kiris, Director of BS/2 Georgia; Ilgar Hasanov, Director of BS/2 Azerbaijan; Abbas Abbasov, Deputy Director; and Anton Khokhanov, Technical Director of BS/2 Azerbaijan.
The exhibition also became a meeting point for valued banking partners from Georgia and Azerbaijan, who attended at the invitation of BS/2 and ASHBURN International. Among the guests were Levan Jekia, Commercial Director at Bank of Georgia; Lasha Davituliani, Head of Acquiring at TBC Bank; Farid Salahov, Director of Partner Relations at ABB Bank; and Toghrul Hajiyev, Head of Payment Infrastructure at Xalq Bank. These meetings reinforced mutual trust and a shared ambition to continue developing innovative joint projects.

At the SUNMI booth, BS/2 and ASHBURN International presented their integrated business solutions aimed at improving efficiency and customer experience. A key highlight was the demonstration of the TransLink.iQ platform integrated with SUNMI devices — a system that enables real-time transaction management and device monitoring.
Visitors also had the chance to see SUNMI’s new generation of devices, CPad and FLEX 3, designed to meet growing business needs for speed, convenience, and digital transformation. The SUNMI CPad — a lightweight, ergonomic tablet combining the functionality of a POS terminal with the mobility of a handheld workstation — illustrated how flexible customer service can be, from accepting payments to interacting directly with clients at the point of sale. The SUNMI FLEX 3, meanwhile, represents the next generation of interactive devices featuring a large display, intuitive interface, and the versatility to adapt to various business formats, from checkout counters to self-service kiosks.
A special highlight of the exhibition was the SUNMI BIoT with AI – Commerce Future event, where ASHBURN International, BS/2 Azerbaijan, and BS/2 Georgia received certificates recognizing their long-term and successful cooperation with SUNMI Corporation. The awards were presented by Bin Zhang, Managing Director for the Region, and Alexander Bespaly, Managing Director for the CIS and Mongolia.
The participation of BS/2 and ASHBURN International in GITEX GLOBAL 2025 reaffirmed their commitment to expanding international partnerships, promoting innovation, and contributing to the ongoing digital evolution of the banking and retail industries.
