Automation of the ticketing system for visitors to the “Icheri Sheher” complex in Baku

The historical and architectural reserve Icherisheher is one of the main attractions of Baku (Azerbaijan). The historical complex includes many architectural monuments that have survived to our times: mosques, towers, churches, squares, etc. Its territory is 221 thousand m2. Icherisheher is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List; tens of thousands of tourists from all over the world visit the reserve every year.

Implemented solution

To quickly, conveniently, and safely pay for tickets to payment kiosks installed in different parts of the cultural and historical complex of Icherisheher, the Payments.iQ software solution was installed, which made it possible to combine all these self-service devices into a single network.

Using the Payments.iQ platform as an automated ticketing system allowed tourists to independently choose places to visit (museums, observation decks, etc.), the type and number of tickets, as well as pay and print them on the spot.
