“Penkių kontinentų komunikacijų centras” at the conference “LOGIN 2014”: hand in hand with IT innovations
On April 10-11, this year, the Lithuanian Exhibition and Convention Centre “Litexpo” will hold the eighth Internet and Technology Conference “LOGIN 2014”. One of the participants of this event, which annually attracts more than three thousand fans of the latest technology, will be the company “Penkių kontinentų komunikacijų centras.” To the visitors of the conference, the company will offer an interactive stand, already popular live broadcasts, and a speaker from Finland.
According to the company’s representative Tomas Okmanas, “Penkių kontinentų komunikacijų centras” is a company that is interested in innovations and goes hand in hand with the most advanced technology. LOGIN participation offers an excellent opportunity to learn something new and present innovative solutions and trends in the market. This year, the interactive stand of “Penkių kontinentų komunikacijų centras” will be used to introduce IT maintenance services “ProfIT” and one of the solutions, i.e., setting up of remote workstations using cloud technology. This solution allows you to connect to your workstation and in any location in the world with only a monitor (computer, tablet PC, smartphone) and keyboard. Moreover, all visitors of the stand will be able to participate in a game and win a laptop computer and other valuable prizes,” says T. Okmanas.
For the third year in a row, “Penkių kontinentų komunikacijų centras” will also offer all those interested in technology innovation the opportunity to watch live broadcasts from the conference that can be viewed online on a computer or smart device. During the broadcast, viewers will be able to listen to reports of IT experts’ conferences and ideas. Last year, the broadcast attracted a record number of interested viewers, i.e., almost 60 thousand.
This year, “Penkių kontinentų komunikacijų centras” invites conference participants to listen to a report of its long-standing partner “Cisco.” This company is famous not only for its equipment but also for its insights into IT technology development. The company even has specialists who analyze and forecast the impact of future technology on business and people’s daily lives. “Cisco” General Manager in Finland and the Baltic countries Esa Korvenmaa invited to the conference by “Penkių kontinentų komunikacijų centras” will give a speech “Internet of Everything – Connect the Unconnected.”
This year, as many as 7 halls will be dedicated to LOGIN reports and events. Thus participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the interesting and constantly changing content of the conference. For the fifth time, the two-day conference will be crowned with “Lithuanian Internet Awards 2014”.
LOGIN is the largest gathering of the Internet and technology community in the Baltic countries that annually attracts more than 80 speakers and over three thousand participants worldwide. LOGIN started as a conference of Lithuanian bloggers in 2007 and has grown into an international event. Over the period of seven years, LOGIN offered space to share visions to such prominent people as Steve Wozniak (“Apple”), Bas Lansdorp (“Mars One”), Peter Sunde (“The Pirate Bay”), Darko Dujiè (“Google”), Jimmy Wales (“Wikipedia”), Corrado Tomassoni (“PayPal”), etc.
