Annual turnover of the group of companies “Penki kontinentai”: LTL 122.8 million
The group of companies “Penki kontinentai” completed the year 2012. The company’s annual turnover amounted to LTL 122.8 million, which is 5 percent more than in 2011.
Traditionally, the leader of the group of companies under the financial performance during 2012 is the company “Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologies” (BS/2), which specializes in the sectors of banking technologies, retail trade, and outsourcing services. Products and services of BS/2 are distributed and well-known in more than 60 countries worldwide, and the company’s profit amounted to about LTL 4 million last year.
In 2012, the development of a continuous service network was carried out, and new regional centers, the number of which has already reached 30, were established. These centers provide services to major banks and financial institutions of various countries. Significant development of product and service distribution network took place in Germany, Belarus, Mongolia, Tadzhikistan, Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, and Vietnam. The list of countries leading by the volume of product and service provision includes Kazakhstan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, and Latvia. Establishing one single monitoring and service center for the group of companies ensures a stable operation of more than 23 thousand banking and telecommunications devices in different countries of the world.
2012 was a record year in terms of the volume of investment in secondary structures – in Lithuania alone, this amount reached LTL 31.5 million. A major part of these investments consisted of funds to expand and install a fiber-optic “Skynet” network. Today, more than 2,500 buildings and residential houses in the Lithuanian capital are connected to “Skynet.” This means that 132 thousand apartments in Vilnius have access to the fastest Internet and interactive television. Moreover, a significant part of the investment was allocated to complete the first stage and begin the second stage of the Loft Town construction, equipped with all smart house functions developed by “Penki kontinentai.”
According to Idrakas Dadašovas, the Chairman of the Board of “Penki kontinentai,” the use of a single corporation based on accumulated knowledge about projects, customers, and business maintenance has led to the development of the range of inter-complementary modular solutions. It has ensured the effective management of business processes based on methodology proven in practice.
The total amount of taxes paid by the group of companies to the Lithuanian budget in 2012 amounted to over LTL 9 million.
