BS/2 Uzbekistan Has Officially Opened its New Office in Tashkent

On June 14th, the new BS/2 Uzbekistan office was officially opened in Tashkent. This event, along with the company’s participation in the Digital Uzbekistan-2024 Forum and the signing of a Memorandum with “Trastbank”, represents a significant milestone in strengthening BS/2’s market presence and creating new business opportunities in the region.

Idrakas Dadašovas, Chairman of the Board at Penki Kontinentai Group, and Dmitry Kharchenko, Director of BS/2 Uzbekistan, cut the ribbon at the ceremony. The event was attended by BS/2 partners, representatives of Uzbekistan’s banks, and key employees from Penki Kontinentai Group subsidiaries across eight countries.

The new office is located in a modern business center near the IT Park and covers 750 square meters. It includes a workspace for employees and a showroom featuring the latest and most popular banking equipment from top global manufacturers.

The showroom showcases products like the DN Series and CS Series ATMs and retail equipment from Diebold Nixdorf, as well as cash counting, processing, and packaging equipment from Tresmer, Magner International, Bankosa, Henkovac, and various EFTPOS terminal models. Additionally, the office houses a spare parts warehouse to ensure quick service and reduce equipment downtime.

BS/2 has been operating in Uzbekistan for over 20 years and has established 13 service centers. This chain supports the operation of more than 2,100 ATMs, over 7,000 payment terminals, and at least 1,000 counting and sorting machines across the country. The company has also set up dedicated divisions to support and integrate software solutions and maintain counting and sorting machines to promote banking products and services.

BS/2 is a key player in improving the efficiency and security of cash handling in Uzbekistan. Their equipment, software, and technical services are used by 25 banks, representing over 70% of all financial institutions in the country. BS/2 Uzbekistan employs 70 highly skilled specialists and has completed over 20 custom projects for banks, processing companies, and retail chains since 2022.

The company emphasizes continuous development and training in the banking sector. Over the past two years, BS/2 Uzbekistan has organized 8 educational events for partner banks in Uzbekistan, showcasing the latest innovations in banking and modern equipment functionalities.

BS/2 also hosts open training seminars for financial experts. One such session, “ATM & Cash Optimization,” was held on June 14, 2024, in Tashkent. Participants learned about the new Cash Management.iQ 2.2.5 update, various counting and sorting technologies, and security cash solutions. The seminar focused on automating cash handling, reducing human errors, and improving cash flow management.
