BS/2 together with Diebold Nixdorf and Eurasian Bank introduced the world’s first DN Series ATM operating on VCP-Lite 7
Driving Innovation: Implementation of VCP-Lite 7
BS/2, in cooperation with Eurasian Bank (Kazakhstan) and its global technology partner Diebold Nixdorf, has launched the world’s first DN Series ATM operating on the VCP-Lite 7 software platform. This project continues the successful experience of BS/2, Eurasian Bank, and Kapitalbank (Uzbekistan) in implementing advanced IT solutions. In October 2024, BS/2 and Diebold Nixdorf were the first worldwide to adapt a banking application to run on the new Windows 11 operating system. The solution was initially introduced with Kapitalbank on a DN Series 200H ATM using the VCP-Lite platform. The second stage was its deployment on a DN Series 450V ATM at Eurasian Bank. Thus, in less than a year, the partners have twice implemented projects of global significance, demonstrating a consistent commitment to modernizing banking infrastructure.
Galym Tabyldiev, Head of the Cards and Payments Division at Eurasian Bank, said:
“The implementation of VCP-Lite 7 transforms every ATM into an intelligent assistant, delivering higher performance, stronger security, and a more intuitive user experience. This advanced upgrade introduces new self-service capabilities and makes customer interactions even more convenient. For Eurasian Bank, it marks an important milestone in our ongoing digital transformation journey.”
Next-Generation Platform
As part of the new pilot project, the DN Series 450V ATM, which had previously been used in Windows 11 testing, was upgraded to run on the VCP-Lite 7 platform. This is an optimized version of Diebold Nixdorf’s software solution designed to increase the performance of self-service devices.
VCP-Lite 7 supports modern APIs and web extensions, which simplifies integration with digital channels and ensures a more seamless omnichannel customer experience.BS/2 became the only Diebold Nixdorf partner to pilot this new version of the software, while Eurasian Bank is the first bank in the world to put an ATM with this platform into live operation. Today, the device is fully operational, providing customers with reliable, secure, and fast access to financial services.
Konstantin Kabarovs, Head of the Vendor Product Support Department at BS/2, noted:
“We are grateful for the opportunity to deliver this project together with Eurasian Bank. It is an important step in developing our technological foundation. The first ATM on the new platform is already serving customers, and we are ready to respond quickly to feedback to ensure maximum efficiency.”
Strategic Partnerships and Future Outlook
The successful implementation of VCP-Lite 7 confirms the commitment of BS/2, Diebold Nixdorf, and Eurasian Bank to the highest standards of technological advancement. The companies are focused on further strengthening their partnership and introducing new solutions that will shape the future of banking self-service.
Jerome Amara, Vice President of Global Banking Products at Diebold Nixdorf, emphasized:
“BS/2 demonstrates not only outstanding technical expertise but also a genuine drive for innovation. In a very short time, we have already delivered two global premieres together. We are proud to call BS/2 our technology partner. Such cooperation accelerates the introduction of new solutions and strengthens the market position of both companies.”
