How to Manage Cash Circulation: Technological Innovations of the Industry Were Discussed In Tashkent
International Conference “Cash Circulation, Collection and Cash Operations in the Bank“ was held in Tashkent from November 12 to 13. The event became a platform where bank managers, vendors, banking solutions developers, and suppliers met to discuss current industry issues. Over 140 representatives of the banking industry from the CIS countries, Europe, and the Central Asian region attended the conference.
The conference participants gathered to share their cash management experience, learn about new technological innovations and innovative software solutions for banks, and discuss the problems and features of cash management in the region.
BS/2 representatives demonstrated how technological innovations influence the process of remote cash capture. The Head of BS/2 Marketing Department, Kirill Ovsyannikov, in his welcome speech and report “Cash Management.iQ: Modern cash management tools, “ told about modern cash management platform Cash Management.iQ and tasks that it solves for banks. The platform work was demonstrated at the BS/2 booth. Banks get the opportunity to evaluate the tools that Cash Management.iQ provides for cash monitoring, cash forecasting, and organizing workflow related to cash transactions in the bank.
“The conference in Tashkent allowed us to take a comprehensive look at the problem of cash management in Uzbekistan and discuss the aspects of banking industry development in the Central Asian region,” says Anton Valinčius, director of BS/2 Uzbekistan (BS/2 Tashkent). In his presentation “Self-collection: who needs ADM in the world of ATMs?” Valinčius compared the features, advantages, and disadvantages of remote cash capture made through ATMs and ADMs (Automated Deposit Machines). ADMs are relatively new devices for this market, they are just beginning to appear in Uzbekistan, but in the context of remote cash capture, their advantages are obvious in most cases.
The Diebold Nixdorf ATM-recycler CS 4060 was presented at the BS/2 booth as well. Using this device, BS/2 specialists demonstrated how the BS/2 software solutions work. The currency exchange solution FCX.iQ, the platform for accepting payments through terminals Payments.iQ, the solution for withdrawing cash using mobile devices, the Face Recognition system caused great interest.
