The BS/2 results contributed to the successful quarterly results of Diebold Nixdorf, the world market leader in banking and trading equipment. 

Diebold Nixdorf published a report for the third quarter of 2022. It notes that the demand for banking products has remained stable, and the company’s current order book stands at $1.4 billion. One of the trends is that banks worldwide are replacing obsolete equipment with newer models more frequently.

A significant section of this report is devoted to describing the outcomes of the BS/2 team. Among the completed projects is the expansion of self-service unit networks by new ATMs of the DN series for the Uzbek bank “Kapital”. The number of sales was $3 million.

Victoriabank has also upgraded its park by purchasing 100 new-generation devices that are unique to Moldova. Users enjoy their interactions with devices more because of touch screens and contemporary research-based design, and banks gain devoted clients as a result.

For the DN series, there are several user-friendly software products. Vynamic View solution improves the performance of machines at lower operating costs, helping to detect and avoid downtimes. ProFlex4 enables the addition of services to self-service devices and thus generates additional income.

The new series’ elevated level of security is a key distinction from the ATMs of the previous generation. Modern devices come with safety features including safes, security cameras, sturdy mechanical locks, anti-vandal sensors, mirrors that alert users to potential threats, options for skimming protection, and privacy filters.

Diebold Nixdorf keeps enhancing the security of its hardware. Implementing technology that can recognize a user’s age through intelligent vision is on the agenda. According to the company, such verification will help reduce the number of external interferences to 90%.
